Rome: The "Premio Roma Danza" competition will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year

The prestigious annual danse competition, "Premio Roma Danza," organised each year on the heights of the Aventine Hill by the Italian National Academy of Dance, will celebrate its 20th anniversary this summer.

Since 2019, the Cuomo Foundation has supported this cultural event as its main sponsor.

Alternating between honoring interpretation and choreography, the competition was forced to reinvent itself during the pandemic period by favoring digital formats. After two editions marked by health restrictions, Premio Roma Danza aims to return to its classic format this year, with live audiences. Choreography and filmed dance will be showcased.
