Marcella Crudeli Foundation launches 34th International Piano Competition
The Marcella Crudeli Foundation held a press conference on Capitoline Hill on October 22 to announce the new “Roma” International Piano Competition.

This prestigious competition has brought young talents from throughout the world to the Eternal City for over three decades, boosting its musical prestige.

Mrs. Maria Elena Cuomo, President of the Cuomo Foundation, was the guest of honour at the event in the magnificent Sala della Protomoteca.

Under the watchful eyes of the Congregazione dei Virtuosi, whose marble busts give this historic hall its name, the conference continued with an all-Chopin recital.

This masterful and emotional performance was performed by maestro Marcella Crudeli.

It was an emotional evening as we honoured Mr. Alfredo Cuomo, the founder of our philanthropic organisation, who established the twenty-year partnership between the Cuomo Foundation and the “Roma” competition.

Mrs. Svetlana Celli, President of the Capitoline Assembly (Campidoglio); Mr. Paolo Masotti, President of the Marcella Crudeli Foundation; maestro Filippo Manci, conductor of the “Roma” International Piano Competition Orchestra; and several cultural representatives of Rome were in attendance.

The “Roma” International Piano Competition will be held  between November 2nd and 13th.

The concluding ceremony and laureates' concert will be held at the Rome Convention Centre on November 15th.
