Remembering Alfredo Cuomo (1933 - 2009) - by Sandy Lieberson CBE

“I first met Alfredo in Rome, 1961. I had just arrived from Hollywood to begin working as an agent, representing many of the great filmmakers and actors then working in Italy. Italian cinema was exploding—with some of the greatest directors and performers in its history. And at the heart of this post-war renaissance—this golden age of La Dolce Vita—was Alfredo Cuomo.”

This short documentary, filmed in London, offers a rare glimpse into the life and work of Alfredo Cuomo, through the lens of personal memory and friendship.

Featuring previously unpublished photographs from the private archives of both Maria Elena Cuomo, his wife, and Sandy Lieberson, his great friend, the film traces the journey of a visionary who moved with ease between art, culture, and philanthropy.
